The Best Classics Racers Of 2019

Racing classics requires a mixture of both climbing and sprinting abilities, as well as technique, tactical intuition and mental toughness. (There's a reason great one-day racers are known as the hard men and women of the peloton.)

In compiling the top 11 most successful one-day racers of 2019, we considered all one-day races ranked a UCI 1.1 or higher. To discover who was the most successful, we gave each rider three points for the win, two for second and one for third.

There are some surprises as established stars like Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe) and Matteo Trentin (Mitchelton-Scott) failed to make the cut, and a 20-year-old form The Netherlands topped our list.
