2018 International Cyclocross Rankings

Betsema Into Top Spot, But All Eyes On The Americans

We can't start the international rankings without mentioning KATIE F-ING COMPTON and how she dominated her 15th National Championship race amongst speculation that this was her year to lose.

Sunny Gilbert's ride into second was remarkable, as well.

Ellen Noble managed to snag the last podium spot, and hopefully will use this result to fire her up for the next round of World Cup racing.

Over in Europe, Denise Betsema showed that she's not just a one-hit wonder, snagging a big win at Scheldecross and moving into first place for the international women's rankings.

Sanne Cant is finally taking some wins, including Zonhoven, a classic Belgian race. But it does make us wonder if she'll be able to defend her World Champ jersey—and if not, who will be wearing it?

(Before we dive in, a reminder that the rankings are based on UCI ranking, racing trends this season, and plenty of subjective intel, wild speculation, Instagram Stories and industry gossip.)
