Stage 4 of the 2026 Tour de France from Carcassonne to Foix turned into a brutal day of attacks, extreme heat and survival.
A huge move of more than 30 riders eventually narrowed to just 10, setting up a dramatic fight for the stage win.
Lidl-Trek dominated the day, with Quinn Simmons doing the muscle work in the U.S. champion’s jersey to deliver teammate Mads Pedersen to victory.
