UNBOUND's Mile 117 Tricky Water Crossing

After 117 Miles, UNBOUND Riders Will Face Double Water Crossings On Old Stone Fort Road

Jun 4, 2021

Michael previews one of the challenging features in the second half of the 2021 UNBOUND Gravel, Old Stone Fort Road. The road is accentuated by two water crossings, the first of which is quite tricky.

While both crossing are "rideable", the steep transition into the creek bed of the first crossing can pose a risk of front tire flats and front wheel mishaps. Racers will have to assess the risk vs. reward of attempting to make it through the first crossing without dismounting.
