Arnaud Demare was relegated for headbutting Nils Politt in the final kilometers of stage five of the 2021 Paris-Nice. While both sprinters engaged in physical contact with other riders, Bennett was forced to sprint around his competitors while Demare maintained contact with his leadout train in part due to the headbutt the UCI has taken issue with.
