Sunday at the USA BMX Legacy Nationals 2026 inside Hardesty National BMX Stadium delivered one of the most unpredictable and hard-fought race days of the season, where chaos, patience, and clutch moves defined who stood on top of the podium.

In Men’s Pro, it was a main event that flipped the script instantly. Izaac Kennedy and Joris Daudet collided in a high-speed first turn incident that triggered a massive pile-up, taking out half the field. Out of the chaos came Drew Polk, who went from last to first in a matter of seconds. But Polk wasn’t done yet. With Cameron Wood and Simon Marquart applying pressure, the battle carried deep into the lap. Polk found another line in turn three to seal the move and claim his first win of 2026. Joining him on the podium were Ryan Tougas and Marquart after a wild and reshuffled final.

In Women’s Pro, Molly Simpson showed exactly why she wears the National No.1 plate. Battling bar to bar with Payton Ridenour and Lauren Reynolds down the first straight, the pace was set early. Ridenour saw an opening in turn two and surged into the lead, but Simpson stayed composed, carrying speed and precision through the final sections to take the win at the line in a statement ride.

The ABA Futures Men class once again proved to be one of the most competitive groups on the track. Four riders charged bar to bar down the first straight, but it was Evan Esposito who emerged with clean air out of turn one. With Tommy Bruney and Zakary Kaiser in pursuit, Esposito stayed smooth and mistake-free, locking in the win to cap off a strong weekend. Bruney and Kaiser rounded out yet another stacked podium.

In ABA Futures Women, persistence paid off for Addison Thompson. After showing speed all weekend without the results to match, Sunday was her breakthrough moment. On a track that demands commitment and confidence, Thompson delivered both, leading the charge ahead of Preslie Gould and Danica Appenzellar to close out the Legacy Nationals with a well-earned podium performance.

Vet Pro wrapped the weekend with a battle that came down to the wire. Christopher Mireles and Justin Riddell entered the final with a dead tie in total points, setting the stage for a winner-take-all showdown. Mireles rode a patient lap, waiting for the perfect moment before making his move down the last straight. In a drag race to the line, he edged out Riddell by inches, securing the win and completing a perfect 2-for-2 weekend in Tulsa.
