USA BMX Legacy Nationals 2026 brought high speeds, hard hits and headline-making moments to Hardesty National BMX Stadium, as some of the sport’s biggest names delivered a stacked weekend of racing in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The event is taking place May 1-3.
In Men’s Pro, Izaac Kennedy made a long-awaited return to the top step, capturing his first win since March of 2025.
The victory didn’t come easy—Kennedy had to fend off a loaded field that included seven of the fastest riders on the USA BMX Pro Series circuit, along with his former teammate Joris Daudet.
With a composed and calculated main event lap, Kennedy proved he’s back in winning form at exactly the right time in the season.

On the women’s side, Saya Sakakibara showcased both precision and power.
Taking full advantage of the inside line, Sakakibara edged two of the sport’s most explosive starters, Molly Simpson and Payton Ridenour.
The win marks Sakakibara's second of the season and serves as a strong statement as she sharpens her form ahead of the upcoming international calendar.
History was made in Vet Pro, where Christopher Mireles became the first rider from Mexico to win at the pro level on the USA BMX circuit.
The class was full of intensity from the start, highlighted by a dramatic first-round collision between Barry Nobles and Justin Riddell. The crash sidelined Nobles for the day, while Riddell showed resilience in battling back to secure a second-place finish behind Mireles’ historic ride.
In ABA Futures Men, Tommy Bruney continued his breakout season with another commanding performance.
Charging from the outside, Bruney powered to the holeshot in a thrilling first straight battle with Chris Felker and Zakary Kaiser.
The intensity took a turn when Felker crashed hard on the first straight triple, leaving Bruney and Kaiser to duel it out. Bruney held strong, adding yet another win and building serious momentum heading into the summer stretch.
The ABA Futures Women delivered no shortage of action either.
Lily Ashley, Addison Thompson and Preslie Gould led the charge over the opening jump, but the race quickly unraveled.
A move in Turn 2, followed by a costly overjump on the third straight, sent Ashley and Thompson to the ground, opening the door for Gould. Capitalizing instantly, Gould cruised to her fourth win of the season, further cementing her status as a rising force in the class.
From comeback victories to historic firsts and high-speed chaos, Tulsa once again proved why it remains one of the most exciting stops on the USA BMX calendar.
