The 2023 Paris-Roubaix or "Hell of the North" includes a total of 54.5 km of cobbled roads, spread out over 29 sectors. The peloton of the 120th edition of the race will battle it out on a 256.6 km course on April 9, 2023.

This race is one of cycling's five monuments. What sets it apart from other races is the unique challenge of the cobbled sectors. These rough, uneven roads can be incredibly difficult to ride on, and often cause mechanical problems or crashes. To give the riders an idea of the challenges, the organizer rated each sector on a scale from one to five stars based on its difficulty.

The first cobbled sector comes 160 km from the finish line, and the remaining sectors are spread out over the course of the race. The highest rated sectors are the five-star sectors, which are the most difficult to ride on. The Trouée d'Arenberg (no. 19), Mons-en-Pévèle (no. 11) and the Carrefour de l'Arbre (no. 4) received a five-star rating.

In addition to the men's race, the third edition of Paris-Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift will be held on April 8, 2023. This race features 29.2 km of cobbled roads, and the last 84 km of the men's and women's races are identical.

FloBikes has the women's race live for Canada this Saturday and the men's Sunday.
