Lance Haidet And The Long Road (And Off-Road) To Hoogerheide Cyclocross World Championships

Jessica Alexander speaks to L39ion of L.A.'s Lance Haidet as he prepares to finish his gravel season and turn his attention to his true passion; cyclocross.

Haidet races professionally across nearly all disciplines of cycling. He mixes it up with his L39ION teammates in criteriums and road races, and he was a competitor in the inaugural Life Time Grand Prix, which concludes this weekend at Big Sugar Gravel. Haidet, who grew up racing cyclocross already has two World Cups under his belt this season, despite still being in the fight for a top-ten finish in the overall standings of the Life Time Grand Prix. 

On top of Haidet's jam-packed race program, he is in his final semester of engineering school. After graduating, Haidet will turn his attention to European cyclocross.
