Snow Falls As Dozens Drop Out Of Ronde

Join Gregor Brown on the snowy roads of the Tour of Flanders as teams scramble to prepare for the cobbled monument while star riders are falling ill.

Wout van Aert confirmed that he will miss the Tour of Flanders after testing positive for the coronavirus. This is a major blow for the Belgian champion who was the resounding favorite for the race.

Newcomer to the cobbles, Tadej Pogacar, is however in good health and spirits as he was among the few riders to complete a preride of the course following a cold front which brought freezing temperatures, rain and snow to western Belgium.
