Gregor Brown reports on the rise of Max Schachmann and his phenomenal 2020 season that included the Paris-Nice overall victory.

Schachmann's season was almost derailed when a car drove onto the course in the finale of Il Lombardia, turning in front of the German and breaking his collarbone. Schachmann started the Tour de France with a broken collarbone and continued to produce stunning rides despite the injury.
