Stage 3 of the 2021 Tour de la Provence finished at Chalet Reynard just short of the summit of Mont Ventoux.

Ineos Grenadiers took control of the peloton near the base of the climb in an attempt to set their two Colombian leaders up for victory.

Julian Alaphlippe, Alexandr Vlasov and Wout Poels put up a fight, but in the end, nobody could match the firepower of Ivan Sosa with the assistance of his teammate Egan Bernal.
