Stage 6 of the 2020 Tour de France finished on the climb of Mont Aigoual, which was stacked on top of two other ascents.

Greg Van Avermaet, Neilson Powless, Jesús Herrada and Alexey Lutsenko were the four riders of the initial breakaway attempting to outrun the chasing peloton.
