This week on FloBikes we are celebrating all things Italian. To that end, we have compiled a ranking of the best Italian riders in the WorldTour. In 7th place is Davide Formolo. Formolo was pegged as a grand tour star from an early age. Following his breakout stage win at the Giro d'Italia in 2015, the youngster spent a couple years struggling to put together another big result. In 2019 Formolo announced to the world that he was back with a second place finish at Liege Bastogne Liege. He would land himself on the podium twice at that years Giro d'Italia and go on to win the Italian National Championships. Formolo's career is on the upswing once again, and FloBikes expects to see him work his way up the rankings once racing resumes.
