Pros Respond: The Agony of Mas de la Costa

Stage 7 of the 2019 Vuelta a España finishes on the Mas de la Costa climb, a wall of concrete that averages more than 12 percent in gradient over just four kilometers. 

We ask racers who rode the climb for the first time in 2016 about their painful experience, and most importantly, what gear they needed to get up mountain.
