Tadej Pogacar Rides Off Course In Vuelta a España 2026 Stage 6

A challenging final descent got the best of Slovenian superstar Tadej Pogačar, who was warned by rival Enric Mas about the difficulty of the terrain.

Pogačar missed a corner and slid off the road. He didn’t fall, but he was stopped long enough for Mas to ride past him and make Pogačar the chaser for the final stretch of the day.

Moments earlier, Mas had tracked down an attacking Pogačar and kept him from a 20-kilometer solo ride and another uncontested victory.

Pogačar ultimately won the stage in a two-man sprint to the line for his third victory of this year’s race and 130th professional win overall.
