Tadej Pogacar Returns On Top At The Vuelta a España Stage 1

Tadej Pogacar won Stage 1 of the 2026 Vuelta a España, blasting around Monaco in the 9.4-kilometer opening time trial.

He beat Ethan Hayter by a fraction of a second, with Josh Tarling also delivering an emotional ride.

Pogacar now wears the red leader’s jersey in his first Vuelta appearance since 2019, when he made his Grand Tour debut.
