Laurens Sweeck has finished in second place no less than seven times in the 2019 - 2020 cyclocross season. The consistent Belgian has been knocking on the door of a big victory for months, and it finally came to him at the Belgian Cyclocross National Championships. Sweeck has three previous podium appearances at Nationals to his name, but in 2020 it all came together for the Pauwels Sauzen Bingoal rider. Sweeck bested teammate Eli Iserbyt and defending champion Toon Aerts to take his first Elite National Title.
