The UCI has released the 2021-2022 Cyclocross World Cup Calendar. 

The World Cup season will begin in October in the United States, with the Waterloo and Iowa City World Cup events joined by a new World Cup race in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Fayetteville will also host the 2022 UCI Cyclocross World Championships on January 29 and 30.

The Fayetteville World Cup (or, FayetteCross) will be held at the same site as the World Championships, the 228-acre Centennial Park, offering a preview of the Worlds course.

“I can confidently say there is no other cyclocross course like this in the United States, perhaps anywhere,” said Brook Watts, FayetteCross race director. “We have been building this course for the past 16 months, with each meter of the course dedicated to bringing the best out of this beautiful Fayetteville mountainside.”

“It has daredevil chutes, a lung-busting climb challenging off-camber sections plus a 38 step climb that will test the racers. And, to the delight of spectators, most of the course is accessible with ease, even the wooded sections.” 

The 2021-2022 UCI Cyclocross World Cup is comprised of 16 events in total, with two race venues yet to be announced. Additional races added to the UCI Cyclocross World Cup calendar in 2021-2022 include classic cyclocross venues such as Zonhoven and Overijse.

The 2021-2022 UCI Cyclocross World Cup will be broadcast live and on-demand on FloBikes for viewers in the U.S. and Canada.
