Chris Froome Reveals How He Won The Giro

Experienced cycling journalist Gregor Brown joins FloBikes as the International Correspondent based in Florence, Italy. Brown will work exclusively with FloBikes to provide expanded year-round coverage of the world’s top cycling events.

Brown has covered races around the globe and in Europe for more than a decade. His passion for cycling began in Oklahoma, first with freestyle and BMX, then watching Greg LeMond's Tour de France wins on CBS television's weekend highlights. The drama of the 1998 Tour inspired Brown to closely follow the season-long dynamics of professional cycling, and eventually to begin to cover the sport himself.

He followed his dream to explore Europe and established himself in Italy in 2004. Brown has been following the Giro, the Tour and every major race since 2006–chasing the news around the globe, but also the best local food and drink to end the day.

Brown honed his skills at CyclingNews and Cycle Sport magazine, and most recently, delivered news and videos for Cycling Weekly and VeloNews, as well as via his YouTube channel. You can follow him on all of social accounts, Twitter, Instagram...

Over the last two seasons, Brown has worked as a contributor delivering on-site content to FloBikes viewers at events including the Flanders Classics and Giro d'Italia.

Amongst the many stories Brown has reported for FloBikes, his exclusive interviews with Chris Froome and Team Ineos on the successful raid of stage 19 in the 2018 Giro d’Italia ranks amongst his most popular feature videos.

Additionally, Brown’s tenacity as a post-race reporter inspired the standalone feature, Race Reporter: Chaos In The Post-Race Scrum.

In 2020, Brown will continue to supplement FloBikes’ broadcast of the world’s best cycling events with content from the UAE Tour, Milano-Sanremo, Paris-Roubaix, the Giro d’Italia, Tour de France and much more.
