Fayetteville To Host 2020 Cyclocross Pan-Ams
Fayetteville secures Pan-Ams ahead of 2022 Cyclocross World Championships.
Northwest Arkansas is on a mission to become one of America's top cycling destinations. This effort is being driven in large part by the Walton Family Foundation. From the blossoming trail network in Bentonville, to the 2022 Cyclocross World Championships in Fayetteville, big moves are happening in the Walton's home state.
With the Cyclocross World Championships a mere two years away from landing in Fayetteville, a major push is being made to develop a robust grassroots cycling scene in the region. Today, a big announcement was made to that end.
Fayetteville will host the 2020 Pan-American Cyclocross Championship as part of the effort being made to give cycling a solid foothold in Arkansas before the world's top cyclocross racers descend upon the state for worlds.
