Affectionately known as "The Race Of The Fallen Leaves," Il Lombardia–the fifth and final Monument of the season–takes place on October 12, 2019. Featuring iconic climbs such as the Madonna del Ghisallo and the Muro di Sormano, the route traverses the hills of the Lombardy region in northern Italy, taking riders along a 243 kilometer route from Bergamo to the historic finish in Como.
