Belgium's Tim Wellens, riding for Lotto-Soudal, won the fourth stage of the BinckBank Tour on Thursday, a 96.2 km ride around Houffalize in his homeland, to take the overall lead.

Wellens edged out Swiss Sunweb rival Marc Hirschi on the line as the race saw its second straight photo finish in as many days after Sam Bennett snatched stage three from Dylan Groenewegen.

Wellens moved to the top of the overall leaderboard ahead of Bennett, who had won the opening three stages.
