USA Cycling announced its roster on Sept. 1 for the 2026 UCI Road World Championships, selecting 34 athletes to represent the United States at the annual event in Montréal, Canada, from Sept. 20-27.
The roster includes Olympic gold medalist Kristen Faulkner, three-time U.S. road race national champion Quinn Simmons and a mix of WorldTour veterans and emerging talent across the elite, U23 and junior age-levels.

Simmons leads the elite men's road race team alongside Matteo Jorgenson, Brandon McNulty, Neilson Powless, Sean Quinn, Kevin Vermaerke and Larry Warbasse. Reigning U.S. time trial national champion Artem Shmidt also was selected and will compete in both the elite men's road race and individual time trial.
Faulkner headlines the elite women's team after winning Olympic gold in Paris. She is scheduled to compete in both the elite women's road race and individual time trial. Kate Courtney, a former mountain bike world champion and 2026 U.S. road race national champion, also earned a spot on the team and is set to make her UCI Road World Championships debut. Taylor Knibb was selected for the elite women's individual time trial.
USA Cycling's selections also feature several reigning national champions in the U23 and junior ranks, including Ashlin Barry, Kade Kreikemeier, Katherine Sarkisov, Kylee Hanel, Enzo Hincapie, Kashus Adamski, Sophia Wellmeier and Liliana Edwards.
