Tadej Pogacar Wins Tre Valli Varesine With Yet Another Solo Masterclass
Tadej Pogacar wins Tre Valli Varesine 2025 with a dominant solo attack, adding to his European and World titles in an unprecedented late-season run.

Tadej Pogacar just doesn't stop winning. The Slovenian superstar added another trophy to his bursting cabinet Tuesday, taking a crushing solo victory at the 2025 Tre Valli Varesine — just days after claiming both the World and European titles in back-to-back weekends.
Pogacar attacked with 19 kilometers to go on the climb to Casciago, dropped his breakaway companions, and never looked back. The chase group — including big names like Primoz Roglic, Thomas Pidcock, Isaac Del Toro, and Ben Tulett — tried to close the gap, but Pogacar was already gone.
Solo To The Line In Varese
With five kilometers left, Pogacar held a 50-second lead over the chasers and a full minute on the main peloton. Even as the group behind him reorganized, the world and European champion stormed up the final climb, entering the last kilometer alone, arms pumping and eyes locked on the finish line in Varese.
A Season Of Domination
It was another dominant win, the kind we've come to expect from Pogacar in 2025. Since February, he's claimed the UAE Tour, Strade Bianche, Flanders, Liège, the Tour de France, the World Championships in Rwanda, and now the European title and Tre Valli Varesine in the span of ten days.
Behind him, Danish junior world champion Albert Withen Philipsen sprinted to second place, a remarkable result for the Lidl–Trek prodigy. The rest of the chase fractured in the final kilometer, unable to hold Pogacar's wheel — just like everyone else this year.
Next Up: Il Lombardia
Next stop? Il Lombardia on Saturday, where Pogacar will chase a fifth consecutive Monument win. Who's going to stop him?
At this point, nobody seems to have the answer.
