For the first time in over 25 years, the USA BMX Pro Series landed in the Pacific Northwest, and the SeaTac BMX crowd was treated to a weekend of all-out racing at the USA BMX NW Gold Cup Finals. 

With history, speed and bragging rights on the line, the nation’s best pros lit up the track and delivered a show fans won’t soon forget.

In Women Pro, Olivia Armstrong put together a flawless weekend, sweeping the class with unmatched consistency and power. From the gate drop to the finish line, Armstrong left no doubt who owned the Northwest stop.

The Men Pro battles brought the kind of fireworks fans came to see. 

On Friday, Ryan Tougas charged his way to the top, showcasing his explosive first straight. But on Saturday, Kam Larsen answered, delivering a statement ride to even the score and keep the title hopes alive.

The Vet Pro class kept the crowd roaring, as Jeff Upshaw held off challenges from Alan Hudson and Corey Reid across the weekend. With each lap, Upshaw’s experience and track savvy proved the difference, cementing his spot atop the podium for the 11th and 12th times on the season.

In the next generation spotlight, ABA Futures racing showed why the future of BMX is bright. 

In the women’s ranks, Taya Boecker was unstoppable—going back to back and proving herself as the rider to beat. 

On the men’s side, the wins were split: Sean Day powered his way to Friday’s victory in front of the hometown crowd, while Deegan Brown found redemption Saturday, keeping the class as competitive as ever.

From Armstrong’s sweep to the back-and-forth drama of Tougas and Larsen, SeaTac BMX delivered on every front. 

The Northwest fans packed the fences and got their long-awaited dose of USA BMX Pro Series action, and the racing more than lived up to the moment.
