The 2025 Tour de France is over halfway completed, and riders are starting to feel the full force of fatigue from the past 16 stages of the race. 

This week marks the final stretch with just five more stages to go, beginning in Bollene, France. However, 19 riders have already abandoned the peleton, with more surely on the way. 

Mathieu Van der Poel is the latest rider to drop out of the Tour de France after being diagnosed with pneumonia prior to the start of stage 16. 

It's likely that no team will see a full lineup heading into stage 21 with the amount of illness and injury the race provides. Here's a full list of every rider that has abandoned the Tour de France so far.
