The Tour de France 2025 opens with a loop around Lille Métropole, before heading west toward Normandy, sweeping south through the Massif Central and turning toward the high mountains.
The peloton will face two individual time trials, summit finishes on climbs like Courchevel’s Col de la Loze and Mont Ventoux, and the iconic finale on Paris’ Champs-Élysées.
With flat, hilly and mountainous stages spread across three weeks, the race will challenge every rider.
Teams must manage fatigue, strategy and support riders through shifting terrain and daily changes in elevation.
