Geraint Thomas quits the Tour de Suisse as a precaution after a crash, aiming to recover fully for his final Tour de France starting July 5 in Lille.

Former Tour de France champion Geraint Thomas has withdrawn from the rest of the Tour de Suisse, his Ineos Grenadiers team announced on Wednesday.
Thomas fell on the third stage of racing in Switzerland on Tuesday and complained of a dead leg afterward, less than three weeks out from the start of this season's Tour de France.
The 39-year-old finished more than 15 minutes behind stage winner Quinn Simmons.
Geraint Thomas Still Plans Tour De France Start
The Welshman will end his career this season and is set to feature on this year's Tour de France, which he won in 2018.
"Following a crash during stage three of the #TourdeSuisse, @GeraintThomas86 will not take the start today as a precautionary measure," Ineos said on social media.
