Winning the Tour de France is one of the most difficult tasks for a cyclist. 

While few have won, even less have achieved the feat more than once. 

Reigning champion Tadej Pogačar is part of that category, and he will racing for his fourth overall title in 2025.

American cyclist Lance Armstrong would hold the record for most titles with seven, having won from 1999 to 2005, but was stripped of every title after he was found to be using performance-enhancing drugs.

The first stage of the 2025 Tour de France will be July 5 in Lille, France. The race will conclude in Paris on July 27, with riders crossing the finish line on the world-famous Champs-Élysées.
