When Pogacar crashed with 4 kilometers to go Wednesday, it didn't hurt his overall standing, but it certainly brought into question if any lingering effects will impact his performance in Stage 12 and beyond.
The stage was won by Norway's Jonas Abrahamsen, giving his Uno-X Mobility team its first win in Tour de France competition. He was part of a long breakaway and ended up in a two-rider race to the line with Mauro Schmid - while nearly running over a crazy fan who ran onto the course!
Heading into Stage 12, Healy leads Pogacar by 29 seconds, while Remco Evenepoel is third at 1 minute, 29 seconds.
For viewers in Canada, FloBikes coverage of Stage 12 will begin at 7 a.m. Eastern and is expected to conclude around 12:25 p.m. EDT.

Stage 12: Tour de France 2025
The Tour de France 2025 heads back into the mountains, and the name of the game in Stage 12 is elevation - 3,850 meters to be exact.
This stage will be a real test of strength and endurance, as the four categorized climbs all come in the back half of the 180.6-kilometer ride from Auch to Hautacam.
The biggest challenge will come in the last 14 kilometers, where the riders will face the most difficult category there is - Hors Catégorie or HC. This one will take them as high as 11% gradient, with an average of 7.8% along the 13.6 kilometers to Hautacam.
Though this journey won't be as tough as a similar route they experienced in 2022, the Tour's sixth stop in Hautacam could be another defining day. In that 2022 stage, Jonas Vingegaard picked up the win and went on to win the first of his two consecutive TDF overall titles.
Does that mean Vingegaard will approach Stage 12 this year with extra confidence and be the man to beat?
As always, 10, 6 and 4 bonus seconds will be awarded to the first three finishers.

Who Won Stage 12 Of The Tour de France In 2024?
Stage 12 of the Tour de France 2024 gave Eritrea's Biniam Girmay his final historic win of the year, capping a three-victory performance as the first Black African to win a stage of the TDF. He won Stage 3 and Stage 8 to kick off his run at the record book.
His hat trick of stage wins also helped him to the green sprinter's jersey when the 21-stage race concluded.
Stage 12 also marked the beginning of the end for one of the race's top contenders, Primoz Roglic, who suffered another noteworthy fall and crossed the line bleeding, battered and further behind the GC leaders.
Roglic's two falls in two days proved to be too much, as Stage 12 was his last appearance of the TDF 2024. He did not show up at the starting line for Stage 13 the following day.
