Tour de France 2025 Stage 4 Preview: Into The Hills
After three stages of the TDF 2025, Mathieu van der Poel holds a slim lead over Tadej Pogacar Jonas Vingegaard. Will that change in a hilly Stage 4?

Stage 3 of the Tour de France 2025 was chaotic and emotional, as an initially uneventful 178.3-kilometer ride was marred by multiple crashes later in the day, including one that forced Jasper Philipsen to abandon the race.
Philipsen won the opening stage of the Tour de France 2025, his 10th career TDF stage victory, which also earned him the yellow jersey for the first time.
Amid all the chaos, Belgium's Tim Merlier edged Italy's Jonathan Milan in a sprint to the line to take the stage win.
