Here are the pro results from Day 1 at BMX USA Spring Nationals.
The 2025 USA BMX Spring Nationals kicked off with a bang under the New Mexico sun as the pros and rising stars lit up the track at Duke City BMX. With a fresh layout and packed bleachers, Day 1 delivered high-intensity action, elite performances, and a crowd that sustained energy throughout the day.
In the Women Pro class, Daleny Vaughn wasted no time reminding the field that she’s a title contender this season. With explosive power out of the gate and defensive riding through the track, Vaughn commanded the track from start to finish, securing the win and sending a clear message to her competition.
On the Men Pro side, Cam Wood brought the heat, riding with calculated intensity and precision. After a tight semi, Wood turned it up in the Main, grabbing the holeshot and holding off heavy pressure from the pack to grab the top spot on the podium.
Alan Hudson made headlines, taking the win in the Vet Pro class. Hudson's fast first straight and smooth second straight earned him the victory and became the second racer of the 2025 season to take home a Vet Pro win.
Meanwhile, the ABA Futures class brought some of the loudest cheers of the day, as the next generation of elite racers battled for early-season bragging rights. Derin Merten looked sharp and composed, claiming victory with another powerful lap. At the same time, Ethan Popovich electrified the fans with a fast pull pedal down the first straight, keeping him clear of the carnage behind him in turn one.
With Day 1 in the books, all eyes now turn to Saturday as the riders return for another full day of national-caliber racing at the southwest’s most iconic venue.
