Diamond League Shanghai / Suzhou 2024 Schedule: What To Know

The second event of the 2024 Wanda Diamond League schedule will be the Diamond Shanghai/Suzhou event at Shanghai Stadium on April 27.

The first event of the season also is being held in China, as the 2024 campaign kicks off in Xiamen on April 20. The circuit will run through mid-September, with a short break for the 2024 Summer Olympics in early August.

The day in Shanghai will include seven men’s disciplines and seven women’s disciplines, as athletes continue collecting points toward the year’s final event in Belgium.

Each year, Diamond League competition includes a slate of 16 disciplines. Points accumulated during the first 14 events of the season determine the athletes who advance to the final event, where they compete for more prize money and Diamond League titles.

When Is The Diamond League Shanghai 2024?

The one-day Diamond League Shanghai/Suzhou 2024 will take place April 27 at Shanghai Stadium in Shanghai.

How To Watch The Diamond League Shanghai 2024

For audiences in the United States, live coverage of the one-day season-opening event will be provided by Peacock, and the action will get underway at 6 a.m. Eastern.

FloTrack will provide results, editorial content and more and will do so for all Diamond League events in 2024.

Starting in 2025, which was announced April 10, FloTrack will be the streaming home of the Diamond League for audiences in the United States and its territories (with the exception of any events being held in the United States.

Men: 100 meters, 800 meters, 5,000 meters, 110-meter hurdles, high jump, pole vault, long jump

Women: 200 meters, 400 meters, 100-meter hurdles, 3,000-meter steeplechase, shot put, discus, long jump

7:28 a.m. – Women’s 3,000-Meter Steeplechase
7:39 a.m. – Men’s Long Jump

8:14 a.m. – Women’s 200 Meters
